Unlike traditional voice agents that rely on stitched pipelines like speech-to-text and text-to-speech, FlowbotAI uses a speech-native multimodal LLM that processes audio directly. This makes timing, context, and turn-taking core design requirements.
To maintain a consistent, human-paced experience, FlowbotAI allocates dedicated GPU resources for each call and uses multi-layer Voice Activity Detection (VAD) to distinguish between active speech and natural pauses. The result is smoother conversations, fewer pauses, less dead air, and more natural phone interactions—even in noisy, real-world conditions.
